Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. Rodeo does not control user interaction on 3rd Party Websites. Rodeo is not responsible for and does not vouch for or promote content on 3rd party websites.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Additionally, the US Federal government requires all ISPs in the US to monitor and track certain elements of internet usage of individual subscribers. Rodeo complies with this law and retains only the data as required by that law. Should a request by Law Enforcement at any level request your data, we will comply with that request. If your data is requested by a subpoena from any level of court system, Rodeo will comply with that subpoena and supply your data relevant to that subpoena.
We DO NOT share your information such as email address, physical address, telephone, or any other personal data with any third party entities. We also do not sell any information about your internet usage or patterns, SMS messaging, or any other details about your activity on Rodeo networks.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We require OPT-IN for users requesting SMS messaging. We retain this opt-in (and opt-out) information indefinitely.
The mandated internet traffic usage data is kept indefinitely.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Opt-In and Opt-Out
Your privacy is protected on any email, SMS, or website access by “opt-in” and “opt-out” functions on the website, or messaging platform. You may opt-in to services when you sign up for them. When you subscribe to Rodeo services, your service(s) agreement specifically does an opt-in for all forms of messaging. You may opt-out at any time except for billing invoices and direct messages from Rodeo employees.
Rodeo uses bulk mailing notifications to let subscribers know about network outages, upgrades, and other items such as marketing promotions. You may opt-out of these at any time.
If you cease being a Rodeo subscriber for services, you must request an opt-out from bulk emails and SMS messaging.
